Lago di Tovel - Italia | During my crossing of the Alps, I spent a night at Lake Tovel, in the Brenta Adamello Nature Park - Italy. The evening hours at the mirror-smooth lake were simply gorgeous! - Realized with Pictrs.comDolomiti di Brenta - Italia | In these mystical weather conditions, the crossing of the via ferrata on the Brenta Dolomites took on a surreal vibe - as if I were on an alien planet. The three central peaks are (from left to right) Castello di Vallesinella, Castelletto Superiore and Cima Sella. The pass on the right half of the picture is called Bocca di Tuckett. - Realized with Pictrs.comTraglav National Park - Slovenia | The view from the mountain hut "Vodnikov Dom", just before sunset. The last rays of the sun colored the clouds orange and a delicate veil of mist hid the path previously traveled. - Realized with Pictrs.comTriglav National Park - Slovenia | While I was enjoying the sunset at the mountain hut "Zasavska koča na Prehodavcih", I suddenly heard falling rocks from some distance. I climbed around in the rocks for a while until I finally spotted a small group of ibexes. One of them posed impressively on a rock for the photo. - Realized with Pictrs.comLysefjord - Norway | Norway is just a very photogenic country. Almost every landscape I drove past offered itself as a picture motif. During a hike to the famous rock "Kjeragbolten" we walked along the steep southern cliff of the Lysefjord. The rocks rise over 1000 meters vertically into the depth. - Realized with Pictrs.comBastei - Saxon Switzerland | Anyone who visits the Bastei in Saxon Switzerland usually takes pictures of the impressive Bastei Bridge. But unfortunately, there are often so many photographers and tourists here that it is hard to find an unobstructed view. Fortunately, the huge rock pillars of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains are also beautiful away from the popular "hotspots" - like on this foggy August morning, when the sun's rays shone through between two rocks. - Realized with Pictrs.comBastei - Saxon Switzerland | It is not easy to imagine the impressive proportions of these rocks and the tree pictured here if you have not hiked in Saxon Switzerland yourself. But pay attention to the people standing on the viewing platform - they give an approximate sense of the mightiness of these rock formations. - Realized with Pictrs.com
